Dave work for PA state police and is the owner of DJL
Printing. He's an Eagle Scout and a volunteer fire police for the Orwigsburg
Fire Company. Dave serves on borough council in Orwigsburg where he resides
with his wife, Jessica. |

Sterns Deer Lake
Gretchen Sterns is an attorney with the law firm of Gillespie,
Miscavige, Ferdinand & Baranko, LLC in their Pottsville office. She has been
a member of the Schuylkill County Young Republicans for ten years and a
member of the Schuylkill County Republican Executive committee for four
years. She is an alternate Republican Committeeman for the Borough of Deer
Lake.
Sterns serves as a member of the Diocese of Allentown Pastoral Council and
on advisory boards for Birthright of Frackville and the St. Joseph's School
for Special Learning in Pottsville. She is a lector at St. Ambrose Catholic
Church, a member of the Schuylkill County Bar Association and the President
of the Bar's St. Thomas More Society. In 2006, Ms. Sterns was one of
eighteen women chosen across Pennsylvania to participate in the Anne Anstine
Excellence in Public Service Series, a statewide republican women's
leadership program. In 2007, Philadelphia Magazine named her a "Rising Star"
Super Lawyer. Sterns also serves as legal counsel for the Pennsylvania Young
Republicans.
After graduating valedictorian from Marian Catholic High School in 1996,
Sterns attended Elizabethtown College, where she was president of the
student body and graduated magna cum laude. Sterns earned her juris doctor
degree from Dickinson Law School, where she was editor of Dickinson Law
Review and a member of the Woolsack Honor Society. She now resides in Deer
Lake with her husband, Joe, and sons, Samuel and Luke.

Sheer Kline Township
Chip is a Certified
Athletic Trainer working for OAA Orthopaedic Specialists in Allentown PA. He
is assigned to Northern Lehigh High School in Slatington, PA. At Northern
Lehigh, Chip works with the Bulldog student-athletes in prevention,
evaluation and rehabilitation of injuries. Every summer he goes to Lycoming
College to work wrestling and girls basketball camps.
Chip
graduated for Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Health
Science/Athletic Training. While at Lock Haven chip worked with various
athletes and sports while serving as Smith Hall President, Residence Hall
Association vice president, and Athletic training club fundraising chair.
Chip was an actor with the Dangerously Improvisation group and had a radio
show on WLHU 93.3 Cable FM. He also has a degree from Penn State with an
associate in Physical therapy assistant.
In Chip’s free time he skis
with the Hazleton Area Ski Club, works as a bartender at Francy’s Kline Inn
in Kline Twp, and is a trap shooter at the Silverbrook Rod and Gun Club. |
